Please Note: Although the game is called Kingdom of Heroes we use KOH when referring to the game or software.

Q. Will downloading the KOH Wizard cost me anything?
A. Downloading the Wizard will not cost you anything, other than, of course, your usual charges to connect to the Internet via your ISP. Once you load the Wizard and connect to Kingdom of Heroes, you have the option of creating up to 3 game characters who each have 5 free sessions.

Q. Could your software contain a virus?
A. No. All our software is virus checked before being made available to you via the Internet.

Q. I've downloaded your software but now I can't find it on my computer?
A. Use the "Find" program that comes with Windows to search for "wolf*.exe" on your hard drive (click on the button in the lower left of your screen that says "Start," then click on "Find," followed by clicking "Files or Folders"). Those steps will find the file containing our software.
Mac Answer: Use your "Find" program that comes with your Mac to search for "lot_" on your hard drive (choose "Find..." from the Finder's File menu.

Q. I've downloaded your software. Now how do I install it?
A. Simply double click on the file and it will automatically start the installation process. Follow the instructions and prompts that the program displays to you.
Mac Answer: The download is a binhexed self-extracting archive. You will need Stuffit Expander, which is available for free download, to decode it, though you will probably find that your web browser will automatically do this for you. Once decoded, simply double click on the file, and select the directory to install to.

Q. Is it true I get to have free tryout sessions?
A. Yes. You get 5 free sessions in Kingdom of Heroes with each of up to 3 characters you create. At any time or after you have used your free trial sessions, you can choose to register a subscription (type HELP REGISTER while in Kingdom of Heroes).

Q. The download stopped halfway through. What should I do?
A. As the downloaded software is quite large, some Internet connections can time out before the file has finished downloading. Delete the incomplete file from your PC, and try to download the file again.

Q. The software will not install. What should I do now?
A. Please ensure you have enough space on your PC's hard drive to install the software and that the software is fully downloaded. If you still have problems, please try downloading the software again.

Q. I have a Mac. Will the software work on my machine?
A. If you download our MAC client then yes it will!

Q. I've installed the software, but I can't find it. What's next?
A. An icon should be displayed in your Start Menu under Online Games Company | Run Kingdom of Heroes Wizard. Click on this to launch the software.
Mac Answer: Simply go to the folder that you chose as your install destination. The program will be there.

Q. How do I connect to Kingdom of Heroes?
A. Ensure the software is correctly installed. Connect to the Internet in your usual way. Double click on the Kingdom of Heroes shortcut button that should be on your desktop or goto Online Games Company | Run Kingdom of Heroes Wizard from your start menu. Assuming your Internet connection is working, you should connect to the game.
